New Opportunity to Support PGCPS McKinney Vento Program

  • Posted on Oct 15, 2020
Attention all!!!

Over the summer,Prince George’s County Public School’s McKinney Vento Program (MVP) Office partnered with Purposity, an app that allows
persons to quickly and easily lend a helping hand to our students right
from a cell phone.

As you can imagine, going back to school this year has been a vastly
different experience for students, parents, and teachers. Families have
been
impacted by job and income loss due to COVID-19, and some students will be without the tools necessary to have a productive school year.

We are asking our community partners to help us spread the word
about this new initiative. The steps are easy as 1,2,3,4.
Starting next month, our followers will get one
weekly notification about students in need and will decide if they want to help.

It’s the simplest way to make an impact locally without any
restrictions. If you have any questions about Purposity, contact
Tisa Holly at
tisa.holley@pgcps.org.
