Yesterday, CDC announced a limited eviction moratorium for renters living in communities experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases, an estimated 90% of all renters. The new eviction moratorium protects renters for up to two months, through October 3. This measure will save lives and is a major victory for struggling renters and their allies! Learn more here.
NLIHC’s national call on Monday discussed how people can get involved and take action on both protecting low-income renters at risk of eviction and advancing the HoUSed campaign priorities in the reconciliation bill.
